While President Obama claims that Islam is a peaceful religion and Sharia Law is not a threat to America, our worst fears are being realized.
According to reports, Hamtramck, Michigan is the first city in America to officially house a majority Muslim population, electing Muslim men and women to be in the city and local government.
Historically, the town has belonged to Polish immigrants, but that is not longer the case.
Shortly after being elected, community organizer Ibrahim Algahim declared that the Muslim community would “show the Polish and everybody else.”
That’s when they started implementing laws, like banning alcohol outside of mosques and other measures designed to facilitate the practice of Islam.
The town has long been a melting pot of cultures due to shifting property values. Case in point: 27 languages are spoken in the town’s schools.
“The Polish people think we were invading them,” Masud Khan, leader of the towns Islamic Center, told reporters.
