Owners of a gun range in Oklahoma are being sued because of an “offensive” sign that they posted outside their shop. After seeing the sign that said “Muslim-Free Zone” outside of the “Save Yourself Survival and Tactical Gun Range,” CAIR board member and follower of Islam, Raja’ee Fatihah got his panties in a wad and promptly decided to enter the establishment with the sole purpose of stirring up trouble.
Once Fatihah strolled into the shop, he revealed to the employees that he was a Muslim and demanded to be able to use their firing range. Undeterred by the Muslim man’s demands, Chad Neal stood by the decision and cited their constitutional rights, reminding him that Sharia law isn’t the law of the land and that Americans are protected by free speech.
Robert Muise, a lawyer with with the American Freedom Law Center, is representing the owners of the gun range, Chad and Nicole Neal, and said that Fatiha has no case because the store owners threw him out for acting “belligerently,” not because he was a Muslim.
“The only thing the law prohibits is if somebody denies services strictly on the basis of religion, and that didn’t happen here,” Muise said.
Muise also stated that having a sign outside that says “Muslim-Free Zone” is protected under the first amendment, regardless of whether or not someone’s feelings are hurt by it.
Fatihah made the choice to deliberately pick a fight with someone who he knew did not want to do business with him, and because of his lack of tact and poor people skills, he gave the business owners a perfectly acceptable reason to deny him service.
