While most of us would like to welcome the New Year in peace, enjoying the company of friends and family, a group of lawless individuals decided to make fun of a stray dog and causing him great suffering as a celebration of the upcoming year.

This dog was found in serious condition at around 8 o’clock in the morning, at the corner of King Alexander Boulevard no. 488 in Belgrade, Serbia.

Witnesses recall that three men tied the defenseless animal to a pole, before forcefully feeding him a pack of firecracker and laughed out loudly as they went off. They quickly disappeared. No one dared to confront them out of fear of retaliation. Witnesses did, however, alert rescuers and police.

The dog arrived at a veterinary clinic with severe blood dripping out of his mouth. His jack had been completely destroyed. The firecrackers also damaged his internal organs and vets were left powerless. They tried a shock therapy, but that did not work out. Despite their efforts, the dog passed away in tremendous suffering.

Such acts can only be committed by individuals with serious problems. These monsters need to be apprehended as soon as possible and be held accountable for the pain inflicted upon this innocent dog – a pain that none of us can even start to imagine.

Demand a police investigation immediately. The incident took place on one of Serbia’s most important boulevards, with building that have surveillance cameras. Help make sure that the actions of these men do not go unpunished!
