Muslims Caught on Camera Trying To ‘Stone’ Christians IN AMERICA!
Is free speech really free? Most Americans would think so, and they would be right--but only to an extent.
In June 2012 in Dearborn, Michigan, Christian protesters against Islam were stoned at the annual Arab Festival that takes place in Dearborn. In a stunning video, crowds of angry Muslims are filmed throwing a multitude of objects at Christian protesters holding signs and making their way through the crowds of the festival.
But when those Christian protesters tried to file a lawsuit against Wayne County, Michigan officials who silenced their free speech and forced them to leave as well as against the Muslims who attacked them, the courts sided with the angry mob.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, the Christian protesters didn't leave the area when they were asked to leave by officials. As a result, the violent actions of the Muslims who stoned the protesters was ruled to be warranted.
The Christians appealed the case and it progressed through two more courts. The first court again sided with the Muslim mob, but the second court, the Sixth Court, ruled that the police officials didn't give the Christians the protection to practice their religion that they should have.
As one of the lawyers in defense of the Christian protesters stated, the case is a landmark one. "This was a complete victory for the Constitution and for all freedom-loving Americans who enjoy the protections of the First Amendment. This decision makes clear that the First Amendment protects speech critical of Islam."
While skeptics of this situation must ask why the Christian group felt prompted to march into the middle of a large Islamic festival and to make a scene, the fact remains that America supports freedom of speech like no place else on earth.
And we should always be grateful for that, no matter at what costs that freedom comes.
