After the San Bernardino terror attack, Obama scheduled a meeting at
the White House to talk about ways to push back against religious
discrimination.
You might
think he’d want to hold a meeting about pushing back against radical Islamic
extremism, but only if you don’t know anything about this president.
WND reported that the Muslim advocacy group Council
on American-Islamic Relations was invited to the meeting.
CAIR’s ties to Islamic extremists in the Middle East have been well-documented by the FBI and others.
President
Obama also reportedly did not invite any moderate Muslim groups, like the
Muslim Reform Movement, to the discussion on discrimination.
Ironically
enough, in 2008 the FBI forbade any outreach to CAIR
because of its ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Apparently President Obama won’t
even listen to his own FBI.
“Why would
the White House include CAIR when FBI policy is to avoid the
group?” terrorism expert Steve Emerson asked.
The
meeting’s focus is understandable,” Emerson stated. “But the inclusion of a
prominent CAIR official serves only to enhance the status of a group with
documented ties to a terrorist financing network.”
CAIR has
been very public about supporting the family of the San Bernardino terrorists.
The bodies from the attack weren’t even cold yet and CAIR was publicly stating that American foreign policy was
responsible for the massacre, not radical Islam.
And this is
who Obama invites to the White House just before leaving for his Christmas
vacation — a vacation he was in such a hurry to get to that he snubbed the
wounded victims of the San Bernardino shooting.
Next year,
we need to elect a Republican who will call Islamic terror by its name and stand up to
terrorists at home and abroad. And it can’t come soon enough.
