Over half of the governors of the United States are insisting that Syrian refugees are not relocated into their states. The governors have cited security concerns that the Obama administration is refusing to acknowledge. They have explained that unless each Syrian refugee is properly vetted, there is no reason for them to enter the country. Each of the governors have refused the federal funding to relocate refugees into their states.
In October, the Director of the FBI, James Comey, said that the United States is unable to vet incoming Syrian refugees for terrorist ties. He explained that there was no viable intelligence being gathered on the ground in Syria, and as a result, there is no database with which U.S. intelligence agencies can check incoming refugees against.
ISIS has already shown that it will use the Syrian refugee crisis to infiltrate foreign countries when they used that method to gain access to Paris to commit their attrocaties.
Despite this the Obama administration will proceed with its plans to relocate 10,000 Syrian refugees throughout the United States, and to make sure that governors play ball, the State
The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) Director, Robert Carey released a letter to address this issue for the president..
The letter explained that the ORR was committed to serving some of the world’s most vulnerable people, refugees who it will help establish lives in the United States by helping refugees achieve economic self-sufficiency and integration.
The letter addressed the security concerns facing America by potentially allowing the smuggling in of ISIS members through the refugee program. It said,
“All refugees are subject to the highest level of security checks of any category of traveler to the United States, a multi-layered and intensive screening and vetting process involving multiple law enforcement, national security, and intelligence agencies across the Federal Government.”
Republican Senator Jeff Sessions has just released a list of 12 refugees that have already joined the radicalized Islamic fight against America. These terrorists are among those that the Obama administration and the ORR have so proudly vetted, and yet allowed through.
The ORR letter then issued a veiled threat to each of the states that will not accept Syrian refugees. The letter explains that any state that refuses one of Obama’s refugees will be, “Subject to enforcement action, including suspension or termination,” of federal funding.
Citing the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the letter explains that no state may refuse a refugee based on their race or national origin. Yet another policy that the Obama administration is trying to ram through without worrying about getting it right or the effects it will have on the American people.
Is this the reason why THE EOA and IRS have been armed o the teeth with war weapons? At this point the US Senate better start taking acre of business. The Senate was set up to plead and work on behalf of the states, not the Administration as they have been for the past 7 years.
